Description

World of Goo is a pleasant and original game where you have to get acquainted with unusual creatures in the form of a drop called Goo. The main characters are rather curious, so they decide to go exploring the dangerous world with the difference of puzzles. They want to explore the whole world in all its glory. But the thing is that our lovely creatures have no idea that they are in the game, and also very tasty, if you eat them. Little researchers are endowed with great curiosity, which will support them throughout the gameplay.

About This Game

But curiosity will often harm our characters, as they will end up in unsuccessful and sometimes even dangerous situations, from which it is not so easy to get out. The world is huge in scale and very dangerous, so you need to protect these curious creatures from any threat of life. Your team will take up any work with great joy, but you have to take control of all their actions.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process

No installation is needed — this release is fully pre-installed and ready to play, so you can skip setup wizards and long updates entirely.
Extract the archive (RAR/ZIP) to a short, Latin-only path like C:\Games\GameName using WinRAR or 7-Zip — and never launch the game from inside the archive, as that is the top cause of launch failures.
Launch the game via Run Me!.bat (or the main .exe file) in the game folder. If nothing happens, right-click it and choose Run as administrator.

Having trouble launching the game?

Check these common causes before troubleshooting further.

Install the required runtimes if the game reports a missing DLL or fails to start: Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x86 and x64) and DirectX Runtime. If the release includes a Redist or _CommonRedist folder, check it first.
Check Windows Security quarantine if files are missing after extraction. Restore only files you trust, then add the game folder to exclusions if necessary.
Use a short Latin-only folder path, for example C:\Games\GameName. Avoid Cyrillic characters, very long paths and special symbols.
Run the game from its main executable after extraction. If nothing happens, try Run as administrator and check the full FAQ for the exact error message.
