Description

A small development studio Image and Form decided to please gamers and announced a game SteamWorld Quest Hand of Gilgamech. This adventure is an unusual mix of role-playing and card collecting genres. But best of all, in the game you expect a modern and nice graphics, unusual style and beloved world of robots and steam engines. The history of the game tells how brave robots began to resist the all-consuming evil. No one appreciated the robots, but it turned out that they had long ago mastered all the delights of technology, gained knowledge of magic and are ready for battle. You will lead a small detachment of robots and try to help them. You will lead their actions, build tactics and interact on the battlefield with collectible cards. All this sounds quite complicated, but in reality everything is much simpler.

About This Game

SteamWorld Quest Hand of Gilgamech — Update v20190808:

Fixed a bug that made enemy attacks deal the same amount of damage regardless of the player’s chosen difficulty level.

The game balance is now back to its intended values and is identical to the Switch version in that regard. From a gameplay standpoint, enemies now deal less damage on Squire and more damage on Legend. Knight remains unchanged.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process for PLAZA

Mount the .iso image in a virtual drive (Daemon Tools, PowerISO, or the built-in Windows mounting) — or burn it to a blank disc if you prefer the real thing.
Run setup.exe from the mounted drive and install the game like any ordinary Windows program.
Copy everything from the PLAZA folder on the disc into the folder where the game was installed, replacing files when asked.
Launch the game from the desktop shortcut or the installed .exe — always with Run as administrator.

Do not let your antivirus touch the PLAZA folder — the files inside are exactly what false-positive scanners love to delete. Add the game folder to exclusions before copying.
If you only need single player, keep the game offline: blocking the game .exe in Windows Firewall stops the emulator from phoning home.
