YOU ARE THE MONSTER

YOU ARE THE MONSTER is a casual action game in which you play as a destructive creature rampaging through an urban environment. The core gameplay revolves around wreaking havoc, with your monster growing larger and more powerful with every building you demolish and every victim you consume. The city serves as your destructible playground, while mounting military resistance attempts to stop your rampage. As you progress through the game, you'll face increasingly formidable resistance from law enforcement, including police units, SWAT teams, armored vehicles, and fighter jets.

Between playthroughs, you can level up and upgrade your monster's abilities to become an even more formidable opponent to these threats. The game features a progression system that unlocks additional monsters, each seemingly offering their own playstyle and destructive capabilities. Multiple game modes and skin options provide variety and customization as you progress. Designed by Joshua Hughes, this game offers straightforward monster-fueled mayhem without unnecessary complexity, focusing on the primal pleasure of wreaking havoc on a city and building your power.
