Description
WARSHIFT 2 is an indie game hybrid of action, role playing, and real time strategy, created by independent developer Cyril Megham as a sequel to the original game. Set in the near future, the game depicts a war in which humanity fights for survival against an aggressive biomechanical civilization that is consuming all life. Players assume the role of commanders battling across frontier worlds teeming with combat cyborgs, heavy vehicles, and bioengineered monstrosities.
Gameplay seamlessly switches between top down strategic control and direct, third person combat in real time. Success requires building bases, deploying defensive towers, and managing energy and resource extraction. Tactical options include deploying heavy units, aircraft carriers, flying battleships, and employing orbital weapons of mass destruction. Hero avatars are deeply customizable and upgradeable, allowing players to upgrade their weapons, support drones, turrets, and unique superpowers. Battles unfold across a variety of operational environments, including land, air, water, underwater, volcanic, and space arenas. The single player offline mode includes interactive tutorial missions, full fledged story campaigns, and customizable skirmishes against AI controlled opponents.

Step-by-step setup process for RUNE

Mount the .iso file in a virtual drive — on Windows 10/11 double-clicking the image is enough.

Run the installer from the disc and install the game — the release is already cracked, so no manual file copying is required.

Use the desktop shortcut created by the installer to start the game.

If the game does not launch, copy the contents of the
RUNEfolder on the disc into the installed game folder and try again.
