Zone of the Enders The 2nd Runner Mars is a re-release of the second series of the game Zone of the Enders, with the subtitle The 2nd Runner, which was released back in 2003. The players take on the role of Dingo Egret, the new pilot of Jehovah’s mighty battle fur, whose mission is to finally defeat the BAHRAM organization. Compared to the original, the game boasts mostly high-quality graphics, updated soundtrack and support for VR-glasses.

The scene of the game is concentrated two years after the plot, presented in the first part of the series. The protagonist of the game is Dingo Egret, a former BAHRAM pilot, a miner on Callisto (one of the moons of Jupiter). When the main character manages to find Yehut, a powerful robot known from the original, he is attacked by former employers and is mortally wounded in response to the refusal to return to his ranks. Fortunately, with the help of an agent, Ken Marinaris manages to connect to life support systems aboard Jehuty. From now on, the main character cannot leave the cab, and his goal is to finally defeat BAHRAM.

In Zone of the Enders The 2nd Runner Mars, released on the Windows PC platform, we observe action from a third-person perspective (TPP). The gameplay has a linear character — the game consists of a series of stages, and our main task is to fight with hordes of enemies, among which are both combat vehicles and smaller robots, as well as much more powerful mechs, similar to that controlled by Jeguti. We eliminate opponents using a wide range of robotic attacks — we use both long-range weapons and large energy sword, as well as environmental elements used as temporary weapons.

In exchange for further success, we will advance to the next levels, thereby increasing your combat potential. In the event of injury, repairs can be made using the resources of methane in fossil fuels acquired during the fight, the extraction of which focuses on the story told in a series of games. Compared to the original 2003, Zone of the Enders The 2nd Runner Mars boasts mostly improved graphics — and the gras can work with 4K resolution, and the authors also worked on the sound design.
