BIZ Helmsman is a branching business simulation by 22°N explorer studio, where the player inherits a company and steps into the role of CEO. The story explores a society obsessed with efficiency and devoid of empathy, where growing a business means facing harder moral choices.

The game splits the day into two roles. By day, the player is a CEO who navigates orders, assigns tasks and balances exploitation against humanity to keep the company alive. By night, the same character is a father and husband, walking a tightrope between family duties, underground deals and personal conscience.

Contracts drive the business layer. The market generates random deals, and the player chooses between low profit but safe public welfare projects or illegal agreements that promise huge gains. High risk contracts keep the company afloat today but can lead to exposure or plant the seeds of disaster later.

Every decision carries weight beyond numbers. Contracts tie to profit, employee stress, company reputation and morality. Execution strategies, responses to employee requests and emergency handling all ripple outward, affecting other firms and their leaders as well.

Resource management is precise. The player oversees funds, limited employee working hours, mood points and technology research. Assigning the right people to the right tasks keeps the machine running, while pushing too hard breaks the team.

The campaign is branching with multiple endings. Every choice shapes the fate of the protagonist and everyone around, so no two playthroughs end the same way. The anime visual style and point and click interface keep the experience accessible despite its heavy themes.

At its core, the game asks a simple question: what kind of CEO will you be? The answer changes the company, the family and the world around them, one decision at a time.
