IGS Classic Arcade Collection

IGS Classic Arcade Collection brings eight classic arcade games to PC in one package. The set comes from Taiwanese developer IGS and is released by H2 Interactive. This build includes the latest version of the collection, ready to run after installation.

The lineup centers on the Knights of Valour series, with three entries included. Super Heroes, Plus, and Nine Dragons cover the classic beat em up action the series is known for. The rest of the set holds a mix of genres: Oriental Legend and Oriental Legend Spooky bring fantasy brawling, Martial Masters is a fighting game, Demon Front runs as a shooter, and The Gladiator completes the list with arena combat. Every title in the package was a fixture of real arcade halls in Asia.

Multiplayer stays true to the arcade roots. Selected titles support online play for up to four players, so you can team up with friends on the same campaign. Local multiplayer is also available where the original hardware supported it. This keeps the social side of arcade gaming alive on modern machines, and finding a partner is easy through the online mode. The co op sessions play out exactly like the original cabinet runs.

The collection was faithfully recreated from the original arcade boards. The look and the feel follow the source material, while the package adds modern conveniences like save states, difficulty options, and adjustable controls. These features make the older games much easier to jump into today. Language support includes English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. Nothing about the core gameplay was changed in the process.
