Description
STALKER 2 Heart of Chornobyl Cost of Hope is the first major story expansion for the famous shooter that brings players back into the depths of the dangerous and unpredictable Zone. The plot revolves around the sudden escalation of an old conflict between two of the most powerful factions known as Duty and Freedom. The main character named Skif finds himself right in the middle of this war of ideologies where the fragile peace is shattered and old treaties no longer apply. The expansion offers a brand new non linear story for dozens of hours where you will have to make tough decisions, untangle intrigues, and choose one of the opposing sides to survive in this dark and decaying world.
In terms of mechanics, the expansion opens up huge legendary territories for free exploration, including the mysterious Iron Forest and the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant itself. The gameplay combines survival elements, dangerous shootouts with bandits and mutants, and hunting for valuable artifacts inside lethal anomalies. A very interesting feature is the surreal location called the Space Bubble, which is a twisted labyrinth with staircases suspended in the void and a creepy atmosphere that completely changes the perception of space. The developers also added a lot of new gear, updated the shooting mechanics, and upgraded the graphics engine, making the exploration of hidden corners of the Zone even more exciting and terrifying.

Step-by-step setup process for RUNE

Mount the .iso file in a virtual drive — on Windows 10/11 double-clicking the image is enough.

Run the installer from the disc and install the game — the release is already cracked, so no manual file copying is required.

Use the desktop shortcut created by the installer to start the game.

If the game does not launch, copy the contents of the
RUNEfolder on the disc into the installed game folder and try again.
