Description

Your parents said they walked ten kilometers uphill both ways. This game believes them. How Asian Parents went to School is an action adventure from Andy Yeet, published by Kaljag Games and MadOctopus, and it turns the legendary family commute into a playable gauntlet. Reach school alive, if possible. Attendance is mandatory. Survival is optional.

The journey starts with three friends and a story to live up to. Together you relive the commute your parents never stopped bragging about, climbing vertical mountains and surviving a highly questionable route to class. The bell does not wait, and neither does family honor. Get to school, or bring shame to your name.

The obstacles take the premise seriously and the tone absolutely not. The route is full of dangers that escalate from inconvenient to absurd, and the game commits to every bit of it. The game treats every hazard like a family story retold with more explosions. Platforming, timing, and a healthy distrust of the environment carry you forward, one near miss at a time.

One encounter deserves its own paragraph. Humans love cats, but the creature waiting on the road is not exactly a cat. It is a cat mask wearing bear that screams Meow at players, spits on them, and carries a literal flamethrower in its mouth. The bear returns later for a friendly game of freeze tag, where if everyone freezes, everyone dies, and your only hope is friends who can unfreeze you.

The whole experience runs on that mixture of chaos and affection. It is a comedy adventure with action under the hood, built for players who like their challenges ridiculous and their co op loud. Failure is funny here, and that is the design. How Asian Parents went to School turns a family tall tale into a run worth bragging about.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process for P2P Release

  1. No installation is needed — this release is fully pre-installed and ready to play, so you can skip setup wizards and long updates entirely.

  2. Extract the archive (RAR/ZIP) to a short, Latin-only path like C:\Games\GameName using WinRAR or 7-Zip — and never launch the game from inside the archive, as that is the top cause of launch failures.

  3. Launch the game via Run Me!.bat (or the main .exe file) in the game folder. If nothing happens, right-click it and choose Run as administrator.
