About The Game
Attentat 1942 is a text adventure game with mini-games based on the interface that takes place in occupied Czechoslovakia during World War II. The grandfather of the protagonist was arrested by the Gestapo after a successful attempt to assassinate Reinhardt Heydrich. Our task is to find him and find out the truth about his role in the whole operation. Attentat 1942 offers a full experience of adventure games, consisting of conversations with meeting characters and demanding mini-games. Individual events are shown using comics mixed with rare audio recordings and role-playing functions that play a major role in real actors. As a result, the game mixes a number of descriptive techniques into a consistent experience, further enhanced by dialogues written thanks to the profound contribution of professional historians.

Attentat 1942 tries to deliver a full-fledged adventure game. Our actions include obtaining information from numerous conversations and solving complex mini-games. The game is typical for its historical value — the script was written thanks to the solid contribution of a team of professional historians, while the game is supplemented with rare audio recordings. As a result, we still have a rich historical source, which recreates the atmosphere of that period in the history of the Czech Republic. The game mixes a number of descriptive techniques with a single experience. Individual events are introduced with the help of a comic book, backed up by the aforementioned audio recordings and role-playing scenes involving real actors who take on the role of interrogated witnesses.
