Description

Euro Truck Simulator 2 Road to the Black Sea — among the countries available for transportation are Bulgaria, Romania and the European part of Turkey. Players will be able to expand their transport company and see Transylvania, the Carpathian Mountains, the Black Sea coast and Thrace, the gates to Istanbul. The addition will add to the game over 10 thousand kilometers of roads, 20 large and small cities and settlements, including the largest city in Turkey, Istanbul. Players will be able to pass the new border checkpoints, take a ferry across the Danube and see local attractions. And at the same time get new achievements. Euro Truck Simulator 2 was released seven years ago, however, developers are in no hurry to announce the third part, preferring to complement and expand the finished game, simultaneously improving its appearance.

NOTES. With the release of the v1.38 update many game files changed so we decided to make a new standalone.

Man-made objects undoubtedly play an important role in the environment, but they are only an addition to the beauty that nature has created, in these countries you can ride along roads through forests, mountain ranges (for example, in Transylvania) and coastal areas. Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process for CODEX

Open the .iso with a virtual drive program (e.g. Daemon Tools) — on Windows 10/11 a double click mounts it on its own.
Install the game by running setup.exe and following the wizard.
After installation, copy the entire contents of the CODEX folder from the disc into the game folder and agree to replace the files.
Start the game through its usual shortcut, preferably as administrator.

Having trouble launching the game?

Check these common causes before troubleshooting further.

The steam_api64.dll and other files from the CODEX folder are the heart of the release — if your antivirus removes them, restore them from quarantine and exclude the game folder.
CODEX releases run fully offline. For safety, block the game .exe in your firewall so it never tries to reach Steam.
Errors about missing d3dx9_43.dll or MSVCP140.dll mean the runtimes were skipped — install everything from the disc's Redist or _CommonRedist folder.
