Scorn

Scorn is an atmospheric first-person adventure horror, the action of which takes place in a nightmare universe filled with unusual shapes and biological patterns. The first look at the trailer, screenshots and game art, evokes the feeling that the author was inspired by the works of Hans Giger, known for his design work on the film «Stranger». The game is created around the idea that the main character has fallen into an unknown world, and he feels himself locked in a nightmare that is more real than it may seem. You will have to explore this world and its locations in an accidental and non-linear way, relying on your senses, not on the clues. Each location will have its own theme and history, unique puzzles and «characters», which will create the «integrity» of the life of this world. As you pass, you will discover new locations, receive other skills, weapons and items, and try to understand your place in this nightmare.

About This Game

The main feature of the game Scorn will be the structure of the world, which is divided into many regions, built from the labyrinth of rooms, as well as the character’s reaction to the effects from outside. All interactions with the world will be realistic — raised items will be taken in hand, rather than «hover» in the air, and interaction with machines and mechanisms is completely visual. The game will be divided into two parts, the first of which will be released in 2017. These parts will contain the entire content of the game, there will be no additions, DLC or sequels. Never.
