Starpoint Gemini 2 is a tactical space ship simulator with elements of strategy and RPG. The plot unfolds two years after the events of its first part and again plunges us into a conflict-ridden Gemini sector, in which the struggle between the Empire and the insurgents fighting with it associated with the Gemini League continues. This development is a great example of a sequel in which almost all elements of the game have been improved. The gameplay itself consists in passing through the entire Gemini sector on one of many diverse ships, of which there are a total of seventy. During adventures, the player, completing missions and fighting enemies, gets experience points and currency, thanks to which it will be possible to improve the cosmo-machine with the help of the best equipment, such as turrets, weapons and armor.

In Starpoint Gemini 2, many sights and secrets await players in the Gemini sector. It consists of 50 fractions in which it will be possible to interact with various of them and even trade in one of more than 100 available products. Thanks to this, the world in the game is constantly changing, which is emphasized by randomly generated missions that are created on the basis of our actions and attachment to individual parties to the conflict, among which there are corporations, criminals or independently existing city-states.
