Description

KATANA KAMI A Way of the Samurai Story is a continuation and spin-off of the Way of the Samurai series developed by Acquire. The game represents the hacknslash genre, so lovers of this genre and samurai themes. The game will send us to an alternative version of feudal Japan. The game tells the story of a blacksmith living near a pine tree, which is the gateway to another world. When the man was unable to pay his debts, his daughter was abducted. Suddenly, a strange samurai approached him with an offer to help him. We play as a mysterious warrior, and our task is to raise money and buy a girl who requires hard work in the workshop.

About This Game

In KATANA KAMI, the action is shown in isometric view. The game has a daily cycle that directly affects the gameplay. Under cover of night, we visit procedurally generated dungeons that extend into the future life, where we encounter hordes of enemies, acquire all the best and best katanas, and also get the raw materials needed to produce more powerful weapons and improve existing ones. When you fight opponents, you need to be agile and reflexes in order to effectively block the enemy’s attacks and conduct instant counterattacks; in addition, what weapon you are holding at the moment affects your fighting style.

During the day, we help the blacksmith in his workshop by building katanas and selling them profitably. Our main customers are representatives of three disputed groups, whose conflict is in the background. The game offers decent quality graphics. The main character moves in a characteristic way, and the places we visit, as well as the demons and monsters with whom we fight, are inspired by Japanese folklore.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process for CODEX

Open the .iso with a virtual drive program (e.g. Daemon Tools) — on Windows 10/11 a double click mounts it on its own.
Install the game by running setup.exe and following the wizard.
After installation, copy the entire contents of the CODEX folder from the disc into the game folder and agree to replace the files.
Start the game through its usual shortcut, preferably as administrator.
