Description

Meet the new patch Update v1.0.23802 for the game Aven Colony The Expedition from CODEX. Aven Colony is a town-building simulator in which the player will have the opportunity to establish a colony outside of our solar system on the planet «Aven Prime». Futuristic design and unusual technologies await you. Explore the new planet in search of resources, cultivate the land and grow crops. Create a huge city that will be able to face the harsh realities of a new planet. Aven Colony is a beautiful strategy that will allow players to immerse themselves in a whole new world. You will face hard and painstaking work, not forgiving mistakes. Try to create a real civilization from a small settlement.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process for CODEX

Open the .iso with a virtual drive program (e.g. Daemon Tools) — on Windows 10/11 a double click mounts it on its own.
Install the game by running setup.exe and following the wizard.
After installation, copy the entire contents of the CODEX folder from the disc into the game folder and agree to replace the files.
Start the game through its usual shortcut, preferably as administrator.

Having trouble launching the game?

Check these common causes before troubleshooting further.

The steam_api64.dll and other files from the CODEX folder are the heart of the release — if your antivirus removes them, restore them from quarantine and exclude the game folder.
CODEX releases run fully offline. For safety, block the game .exe in your firewall so it never tries to reach Steam.
Errors about missing d3dx9_43.dll or MSVCP140.dll mean the runtimes were skipped — install everything from the disc's Redist or _CommonRedist folder.
