Description

Bottomless — is a beautiful pixel platformer where you use your climbing skills to make short forays into a bottomless hole to search for parts of an ancient car. You start the game at the base camp in Antarctica, next to a mysterious ancient machine and a bottomless pit. The missing parts for the car are in different places in the pit, but you can only carry one part at a time, and you can only spend a short time there because of deadly spores. You must use your mountaineering skills to make numerous trips down into the pit to find the missing parts and start the machine. This is a fun little game with beautiful landscapes, pixel graphics and great character animation. Your climbing skills are quite intuitive — especially the ability to shoot and climb ropes, and torches come in handy when you go down even deeper. Find out if you can find all the parts and start the mysterious car.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process

No installation is needed — this release is fully pre-installed and ready to play, so you can skip setup wizards and long updates entirely.
Extract the archive (RAR/ZIP) to a short, Latin-only path like C:\Games\GameName using WinRAR or 7-Zip — and never launch the game from inside the archive, as that is the top cause of launch failures.
Launch the game via Run Me!.bat (or the main .exe file) in the game folder. If nothing happens, right-click it and choose Run as administrator.

Having trouble launching the game?

Check these common causes before troubleshooting further.

Install the required runtimes if the game reports a missing DLL or fails to start: Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x86 and x64) and DirectX Runtime. If the release includes a Redist or _CommonRedist folder, check it first.
Check Windows Security quarantine if files are missing after extraction. Restore only files you trust, then add the game folder to exclusions if necessary.
Use a short Latin-only folder path, for example C:\Games\GameName. Avoid Cyrillic characters, very long paths and special symbols.
Run the game from its main executable after extraction. If nothing happens, try Run as administrator and check the full FAQ for the exact error message.
