Description

Picklock — is a fun voxel-style game in which you wander around the city and poke anything that somehow lies badly. Become a master of robberies, use all your cunning and ingenuity to go unnoticed and solve all the problems. No one expected the game to be so exciting, because at first glance it was very simple, but the missions are interesting and original, and the game content is still plentiful, despite the very modest size of the project. You will play for a guy named Skeleton Key, who had to temporarily escape from the metropolis and settle in a small town. But the habits do not leave behind, they overtook you here. At Picklock, you have to join the exciting adventure of robbery. You have to use all your cunning and dexterity skills to complete certain tasks.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process

No installation is needed — this release is fully pre-installed and ready to play, so you can skip setup wizards and long updates entirely.
Extract the archive (RAR/ZIP) to a short, Latin-only path like C:\Games\GameName using WinRAR or 7-Zip — and never launch the game from inside the archive, as that is the top cause of launch failures.
Launch the game via Run Me!.bat (or the main .exe file) in the game folder. If nothing happens, right-click it and choose Run as administrator.

Having trouble launching the game?

Check these common causes before troubleshooting further.

Install the required runtimes if the game reports a missing DLL or fails to start: Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x86 and x64) and DirectX Runtime. If the release includes a Redist or _CommonRedist folder, check it first.
Check Windows Security quarantine if files are missing after extraction. Restore only files you trust, then add the game folder to exclusions if necessary.
Use a short Latin-only folder path, for example C:\Games\GameName. Avoid Cyrillic characters, very long paths and special symbols.
Run the game from its main executable after extraction. If nothing happens, try Run as administrator and check the full FAQ for the exact error message.
