Description

Nerved — a game project presented in the style of horror, in which all actions take place with a first-person view. Get to know two main characters at once investigators who go to the depths of the forest to solve a gloomy secret. As soon as you arrive at the scene you understand that you are in a real trap and it is from this moment that the struggle for life begins. The atmosphere in the game is able to keep in tension throughout the passage, which will definitely please fans of the genre.

About This Game

The forest where you have to go is huge, and therefore hides a lot of secrets and dangers. The feature is a realistic graphic performance, which is great complemented by sound effects and music. Explore the locations around you to get useful items, which, in turn, will be useful for solving intricate puzzles. In your arsenal there is a map that will help you move around the area, avoiding meeting with insidious opponents, eager for your death. Be careful, because every ill-considered step will lead to death.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process for CODEX

Open the .iso with a virtual drive program (e.g. Daemon Tools) — on Windows 10/11 a double click mounts it on its own.
Install the game by running setup.exe and following the wizard.
After installation, copy the entire contents of the CODEX folder from the disc into the game folder and agree to replace the files.
Start the game through its usual shortcut, preferably as administrator.

Having trouble launching the game?

Check these common causes before troubleshooting further.

The steam_api64.dll and other files from the CODEX folder are the heart of the release — if your antivirus removes them, restore them from quarantine and exclude the game folder.
CODEX releases run fully offline. For safety, block the game .exe in your firewall so it never tries to reach Steam.
Errors about missing d3dx9_43.dll or MSVCP140.dll mean the runtimes were skipped — install everything from the disc's Redist or _CommonRedist folder.
