Description

Generation Zero FNIX Rising — is the second addition to Generation Zero. Cars began to adapt the territory to their needs. The nearest cities are in ruins. Reapers of the Apocalypse class collect all useful resources and leave only bare walls from buildings. Although the survivors continue to struggle with rampant mechanisms, the ruthless pressure of the machines is not going to weaken. You again need to take on the role of one of the survivors and find out what FNIX is up to. There will be ten new missions in the DLC, NPCs, the same number of side quests, and a new Harvester class. In addition, there will be a new test tree, melee weapons, collectibles and skins.

This release is standalone and includes the following DLC:

Generation Zero — Pre-Purchase Content
Generation Zero — Tubular Vanity Pack
Generation Zero — Schweet Vanity Pack
Generation Zero — Blockbuster Vanity Pack
Generation Zero — Bikes
Generation Zero — Alpine Unrest
Generation Zero — Rivals & Experimental Weapons
Generation Zero — Apparel Crafting

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process for CODEX

Open the .iso with a virtual drive program (e.g. Daemon Tools) — on Windows 10/11 a double click mounts it on its own.
Install the game by running setup.exe and following the wizard.
After installation, copy the entire contents of the CODEX folder from the disc into the game folder and agree to replace the files.
Start the game through its usual shortcut, preferably as administrator.

Having trouble launching the game?

Check these common causes before troubleshooting further.

The steam_api64.dll and other files from the CODEX folder are the heart of the release — if your antivirus removes them, restore them from quarantine and exclude the game folder.
CODEX releases run fully offline. For safety, block the game .exe in your firewall so it never tries to reach Steam.
Errors about missing d3dx9_43.dll or MSVCP140.dll mean the runtimes were skipped — install everything from the disc's Redist or _CommonRedist folder.
