Description

Survival action in a zombie-infested post-apocalyptic open world. The events take place in the Canadian city of Calgary and its surroundings. Dead Matter — allows you to choose the play style that suits you best. For example, you can settle in an urban area and defend your home from outside threats using a rich crafting system and erecting barricades. You can cultivate the land and live off what it brings you. Or go to explore a dangerous world, looking for working equipment, weapons and supplies that will help you survive on the fragments of civilization. The game supports multiplayer, a cycle of changing the time of day and even a fully functional electricity system: you can conduct electricity and provide your house with light and heat, as well as power the equipment necessary for crafting and upgrading equipment.

Step-by-step setup process for P2P Release

  1. No installation is needed — this release is fully pre-installed and ready to play, so you can skip setup wizards and long updates entirely.

  2. Extract the archive (RAR/ZIP) to a short, Latin-only path like C:\Games\GameName using WinRAR or 7-Zip — and never launch the game from inside the archive, as that is the top cause of launch failures.

  3. Launch the game via Run Me!.bat (or the main .exe file) in the game folder. If nothing happens, right-click it and choose Run as administrator.

    If possible, please update. The game hangs every few seconds and is unplayable. Older version does not have the problem. In addition, the items of clothing are not displayed correctly - graphics seem compressed. I don\'t know what the screenshots are either. At least they don\'t match the 0.6.0 version - Thanks
