Description

Train Simulator 2021 — is another part of the train simulator series. You will see that the gameplay mechanics are not very different from the solutions used in the previous part of the series. Players sit at the helm of one of the selected trains and guide it along one of the available routes, making sure that passengers reach their destination. Train Simulator 2021 offers routes that mirror real railway lines from around the world. In addition, players can design their own maps using a dedicated editor. Train Simulator 2021 does not make significant graphic design changes. Instead, a number of new options have been added to allow you to adjust the level of realism while playing. Among them, you can find, among others, settings for the power of sunlight and control of the field of view.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process

No installation is needed — this release is fully pre-installed and ready to play, so you can skip setup wizards and long updates entirely.
Extract the archive (RAR/ZIP) to a short, Latin-only path like C:\Games\GameName using WinRAR or 7-Zip — and never launch the game from inside the archive, as that is the top cause of launch failures.
Launch the game via Run Me!.bat (or the main .exe file) in the game folder. If nothing happens, right-click it and choose Run as administrator.

Having trouble launching the game?

Check these common causes before troubleshooting further.

Install the required runtimes if the game reports a missing DLL or fails to start: Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x86 and x64) and DirectX Runtime. If the release includes a Redist or _CommonRedist folder, check it first.
