About The Game
Vernal Edge — is a beautiful 2D metroidvania action platformer that focuses on combat and exploration. You fight enemies using a combat system that draws inspiration from Devil May Cry, while freely exploring various floating islands made in beautiful pixel art. In Vernal Edge, you play the role of Vernal, a young woman who has traveled to a kingdom that floats in the sky to avenge her long-lost father. Along the way, she teams up with a cyborg suffering from amnesia with the brain of a scientist who tries his best to keep her out of trouble.

It won’t be easy, as the kingdom is now suffering from unexplained disasters and mysterious monsters, and there is someone else who is also looking for your father. Even in these early stages of development, Vernal Edge impresses with its beautiful pixelated graphics and responsive controls. At the moment it seems like your attacks are very weak, but the combat system, inspired by the game Devil May Cry, allows for various combos that strengthen your attacks.
