Description

Colony Siege — is a real-time strategy, survival and tower defense game. You have to fight opponents on a wide variety of maps and protect the remnants of human colonies from threats. The peculiarity of the game is the ability to play in single and multiplayer modes. Xenos and Rivens act as enemies, attacking at the most inopportune moment. The gameplay uses traditional mechanics of building buildings, walls, towers, placing traps and managing units. In addition to the standard set of units, players have access to special tools in the form of satellites, military raids and command abilities. Take part in a dozen different missions and try their hand at containing the onslaught.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process for CODEX

Open the .iso with a virtual drive program (e.g. Daemon Tools) — on Windows 10/11 a double click mounts it on its own.
Install the game by running setup.exe and following the wizard.
After installation, copy the entire contents of the CODEX folder from the disc into the game folder and agree to replace the files.
Start the game through its usual shortcut, preferably as administrator.

Having trouble launching the game?

Check these common causes before troubleshooting further.

The steam_api64.dll and other files from the CODEX folder are the heart of the release — if your antivirus removes them, restore them from quarantine and exclude the game folder.
CODEX releases run fully offline. For safety, block the game .exe in your firewall so it never tries to reach Steam.
Errors about missing d3dx9_43.dll or MSVCP140.dll mean the runtimes were skipped — install everything from the disc's Redist or _CommonRedist folder.
