Persona 5 Strikers — spin-off set six months after the end of the original game. All over Japan, cases of mental attacks are again observed, and the Joker group is accused of this. They urgently need to find out what’s going on and why the Metaverse is back in the game. A product based on the same universe, but not directly related to the main events of the original. The Japanese are very fond of spin-offs, and Atlus is no exception. The Persona series has a gigantic number of spin-offs, which already wrote about in more detail in my blog, and the Persona series itself is a spin-off of another jRPG series called Shin Megami Tensei.

Musou is a subgenre of slashers, very popular in Japan, and not so popular in the rest of the world, where characters literally fight dozens, and sometimes hundreds, of the same type of enemies at once. This subgenre has its own entertaining and interesting features, but we’ll talk about them some other time.
