Description

Starship Commander Arcade for PC — is a fantasy-setting virtual reality adventure game developed by Human Interact in collaboration with Microsoft. The game takes place in the distant future, when people have colonized countless planetary systems. The player takes on the role of the commander of a spaceship, who must complete a mission that can affect the outcome of the intergalactic war.

NOTES. This title runs in both standard and VR modes. It does not require a VR headset.

About This Game

While the story description might suggest that this game is a space sim, in truth, the PC version of Starship Commander is an adventure game that requires the player to make decisions that affect the story. The developers wanted the player to feel like a captain of flesh and blood, similar to characters from classic science fiction films and TV series. Therefore, during the game, there is no need to fiddle with manual control of the on-board systems this is the responsibility of the crew, and the player only gives orders.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process for SKIDROW

Take the .iso image and mount it into a virtual drive — any mounting utility works, or use "Mount" from the right-click menu on Windows 10/11.
Launch setup.exe on the virtual drive and walk through the installation.
Move the contents of the SKIDROW folder from the disc into the main game directory, replacing existing files.
Play — start the game from the installed shortcut and grant administrator rights if Windows asks for them.
