Description

Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion — is a game project developed in the style of a casual adventure action game, where all the action takes place from the top down. First of all, it is worth noting a rather fascinating plot, with a lot of unexpected turns and secrets, which are not so easy to unravel. Events send us to the vastness of an unusual fairy world, the inhabitants of which are vegetables. The player is invited to play the role of a turnip, and then go towards an unforgettable adventure, passing tests and revealing secrets.

The plot line tells that Repa was kicked out of the house for debts and now she needs to get the necessary amount as soon as possible in order to return her happy and carefree life. Cope with such a task, as it turned out, is quite difficult, which is why you go on a long journey in order to be able to achieve success. Explore the open world around you, collect valuable resources at certain locations, make new acquaintances and complete interesting tasks that will help you collect enough money to pay debts to Mayor Lukov.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process

No installation is needed — this release is fully pre-installed and ready to play, so you can skip setup wizards and long updates entirely.
Extract the archive (RAR/ZIP) to a short, Latin-only path like C:\Games\GameName using WinRAR or 7-Zip — and never launch the game from inside the archive, as that is the top cause of launch failures.
Launch the game via Run Me!.bat (or the main .exe file) in the game folder. If nothing happens, right-click it and choose Run as administrator.

Having trouble launching the game?

Check these common causes before troubleshooting further.

Install the required runtimes if the game reports a missing DLL or fails to start: Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x86 and x64) and DirectX Runtime. If the release includes a Redist or _CommonRedist folder, check it first.
Check Windows Security quarantine if files are missing after extraction. Restore only files you trust, then add the game folder to exclusions if necessary.
Use a short Latin-only folder path, for example C:\Games\GameName. Avoid Cyrillic characters, very long paths and special symbols.
Run the game from its main executable after extraction. If nothing happens, try Run as administrator and check the full FAQ for the exact error message.
