Description

The project, called Warhammer Age of Sigmar Storm Ground, is a turn-based strategy Total War Warhammer with an emphasis on tactics, as well as a top camera view and fantasy style. Get ready to try your hand at the first in-game adaptation of Age of Sigmar, a dark fantasy universe. Take control of one of the presented factions, open access to new units, equipment, and skills, in this dynamic and epic adventure.

Take on the role of commander of one of the races that live in a universe inhabited by immortal knights who ride their celestial dragons to destroy Death, which rapes many worlds, forever. Welcome to a special world inhabited by legends, heroes and infernal creatures who constantly participate in terrible battles. With each victory you get, you can get new warriors, stronger equipment and abilities that have a truly destructive effect. Explore all the directions that the non-linear story campaign offers you, and then start cope with obstacles never seen before.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process for CODEX

Open the .iso with a virtual drive program (e.g. Daemon Tools) — on Windows 10/11 a double click mounts it on its own.
Install the game by running setup.exe and following the wizard.
After installation, copy the entire contents of the CODEX folder from the disc into the game folder and agree to replace the files.
Start the game through its usual shortcut, preferably as administrator.

Having trouble launching the game?

Check these common causes before troubleshooting further.

The steam_api64.dll and other files from the CODEX folder are the heart of the release — if your antivirus removes them, restore them from quarantine and exclude the game folder.
CODEX releases run fully offline. For safety, block the game .exe in your firewall so it never tries to reach Steam.
Errors about missing d3dx9_43.dll or MSVCP140.dll mean the runtimes were skipped — install everything from the disc's Redist or _CommonRedist folder.
