Description

SUFFERING — is a very complex turn-based role-playing game with a unique system. Its main feature is the intricate design of the battle. The protagonist is an ordinary man who accidentally enters the Room of Suffering, and players will not be able to return to the world of mortals if they do not defeat all sinners in the Room of Suffering. As a turn-based indie game, it goes beyond repetition and adds multiple reincarnations to the traditional turn-based mechanism. This is a unique system that can be infinitely expanded. After the first pass of the current reincarnation, players will open new modes with different difficulties and rules, as well as the opportunity to enter the next reincarnation. The biggest difference is that the subsequent reincarnation did not defeat the sinners with the new rules, but a completely new group of stronger sinners.

Key Features

This might be the most difficult turn-based indie game you’ve ever played.
It’s a turn-based RPG with unusual designs such as zero mob, no gold, no levels and no companions.
Each boss has a special mechanic so that every boss fight is unique.
It emphasizes the importance of researching your enemies, with a hardcore system and bold commands, such as killing yourself just before the boss.
Its setting supports the endless expansion of every system in the game, including bosses, weapons, abilities, items, Sinsouls, and Suffering-Souls.
It was created with a tool that didn’t require us to write code.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process

No installation is needed — this release is fully pre-installed and ready to play, so you can skip setup wizards and long updates entirely.
Extract the archive (RAR/ZIP) to a short, Latin-only path like C:\Games\GameName using WinRAR or 7-Zip — and never launch the game from inside the archive, as that is the top cause of launch failures.
Launch the game via Run Me!.bat (or the main .exe file) in the game folder. If nothing happens, right-click it and choose Run as administrator.

Having trouble launching the game?

Check these common causes before troubleshooting further.

Install the required runtimes if the game reports a missing DLL or fails to start: Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x86 and x64) and DirectX Runtime. If the release includes a Redist or _CommonRedist folder, check it first.
Check Windows Security quarantine if files are missing after extraction. Restore only files you trust, then add the game folder to exclusions if necessary.
Use a short Latin-only folder path, for example C:\Games\GameName. Avoid Cyrillic characters, very long paths and special symbols.
Run the game from its main executable after extraction. If nothing happens, try Run as administrator and check the full FAQ for the exact error message.
