Description

Dark Harvest — a horror game inspired by early horror games such as Slender Man and SCP, it is now designed for mobile virtual reality. A mysterious species invaded the earth. There are mass evacuations, and the world is in a panic. Strange creatures have been reported to be near your property, but you need to gather the necessary supplies before you can leave. Armed only with a flickering flashlight and wit, you must find supplies and escape from the farm before the mysterious creatures find you. Inspired by early horror games, this intense survival experience will make you wade through dark cornfields to avoid alien intrusion. Not for people with weak nerves.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process

No installation is needed — this release is fully pre-installed and ready to play, so you can skip setup wizards and long updates entirely.
Extract the archive (RAR/ZIP) to a short, Latin-only path like C:\Games\GameName using WinRAR or 7-Zip — and never launch the game from inside the archive, as that is the top cause of launch failures.
Launch the game via Run Me!.bat (or the main .exe file) in the game folder. If nothing happens, right-click it and choose Run as administrator.

Having trouble launching the game?

Check these common causes before troubleshooting further.

Install the required runtimes if the game reports a missing DLL or fails to start: Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x86 and x64) and DirectX Runtime. If the release includes a Redist or _CommonRedist folder, check it first.
Check Windows Security quarantine if files are missing after extraction. Restore only files you trust, then add the game folder to exclusions if necessary.
Use a short Latin-only folder path, for example C:\Games\GameName. Avoid Cyrillic characters, very long paths and special symbols.
Run the game from its main executable after extraction. If nothing happens, try Run as administrator and check the full FAQ for the exact error message.
