Description

RICO London — is a shooter that takes you to the streets of London in the late 20th century. On the eve of the onset of the new millennium, many gangs and other criminal organizations appeared in the city, whose members occupied the abandoned buildings. Finding and catching them is almost impossible, because there are too many empty buildings. Criminals take hostages, commit robberies and robberies, and the police fail to cope with their activities. It’s time for you to take the initiative and start looking for criminal groups to destroy them.

You get at your disposal a fairly extensive combat arsenal, which will allow you to single-handedly confront dozens of bandits. Go to patrol the city streets and chase criminals to find their bases. Deal with your opponents by making sudden and rapid raids. Use the surprise factor and succeed where the police are powerless. You will have to work hard before you can completely clear the city of criminal elements. The game offers a solo and co-op scenario where you get the opportunity to chase opponents together with a friend.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process for CODEX

Open the .iso with a virtual drive program (e.g. Daemon Tools) — on Windows 10/11 a double click mounts it on its own.
Install the game by running setup.exe and following the wizard.
After installation, copy the entire contents of the CODEX folder from the disc into the game folder and agree to replace the files.
Start the game through its usual shortcut, preferably as administrator.

The steam_api64.dll and other files from the CODEX folder are the heart of the release — if your antivirus removes them, restore them from quarantine and exclude the game folder.
CODEX releases run fully offline. For safety, block the game .exe in your firewall so it never tries to reach Steam.
Errors about missing d3dx9_43.dll or MSVCP140.dll mean the runtimes were skipped — install everything from the disc's Redist or _CommonRedist folder.
