The story in MONOMYTH takes place in dark and gloomy times, immersing you in the atmosphere of dark fantasy. Strong natural forces in the form of storms devastate the surface of the earth, which is why humanity is forced to descend into underground passages. The main task for the hero is to find a certain ancient artifact, which is a divine gift that can help in these troubled hours. Together with the expedition, the squad goes to the abandoned basements of the ruined fortress to find a sacred relic and help save the protagonist’s brother. While exploring the surroundings, you have to move carefully, without attracting the attention of the lurking evil creatures ready to attack at any second. Objects in the game are interactive, allowing you to pick them up and examine them in more detail. During battles, you have to track the character’s condition and perform precise blows and blocks to defeat your opponents.
