The story in MONOMYTH takes place in dark and gloomy times, immersing you in the atmosphere of dark fantasy. Strong natural forces in the form of storms devastate the surface of the earth, which is why humanity is forced to descend into underground passages. The world is immersed in a period of chaos and hopelessness, which makes it increasingly difficult for ordinary people to survive, strife and civil war begin, followed by the decline of civilization and culture of the human race. Going in the person of the protagonist, driven by his goals in Monomyth, players will have to explore vast underground spaces and engage in battles with a large number of monsters inhabiting gloomy locations.

You will have to carefully explore the zones and elements of the environment, with which you can interact and advance the plot, completing incoming tasks. The main task for the hero is to find a certain ancient artifact, which is a divine gift that can help in these troubled hours. Together with the expedition, the squad goes to the abandoned basements of the ruined fortress to find a sacred relic and help save the protagonist’s brother. While exploring the surroundings, you have to move carefully, without attracting the attention of the lurking evil creatures ready to attack at any second. Objects in the game are interactive, allowing you to pick them up and examine them in more detail. During battles, you have to track the character’s condition and perform precise blows and blocks to defeat your opponents.
