ANVIL

ANVIL — is a cooperative isometric roguelike game. It takes place in the future, where some Vault Destroyers travel across galaxies to destroy various artifacts and exterminate hordes of space monsters. The name ANVIL is an organization that is looking for crypts, that is, the remnants of alien civilizations scattered throughout the universe. Their weapons of destruction are destroyers, powerful soldiers who specialize in fighting aliens and are able to cope with the harsh atmosphere of other planets. To maximize their effectiveness, they replaced their bodies with cybernetic parts that, once destroyed, can be repaired at ANVIL advanced forges.

About This Game

Thanks to technical progress, subsequent repairs allow them to install new improvements, thanks to which they become stronger with each revival. The most interesting thing in the game begins with the choice of the planet to which we will go in search of the Crypts. Each of them is randomly generated, like the set of enemies present on it. The action is played out entirely from an isometric view. After landing on the surface of the globe, along with two other players, we begin to fight in other arenas full of enemies, occasionally facing powerful bosses. By examining the corners of each board, we find additional improvements for our character, usually hidden in special chests.

Completing missions, we collect new weapons that we can equip our Destroyer. We can choose from dozens of different types of weapons, divided into melee weapons hammers, swords and ranged weapons rifles, pistols, flamethrowers. A variety of basic weapons are special skills that allow us to set up defensive shields, create healing circles, or launch a rocket grenade at a group of opponents. It is worth choosing equipment that complements other players weapons, such as the freezing skill and the grenade that breaks frozen aliens. Fallen comrades can be resurrected after a cooldown period. The number of resurrections is limited for each mission. After each order, we review a summary that describes the items purchased, upgrades, and points that will allow the character to progress to the next level.
