SOL CRESTA Dramatic Edition

PlatinumGames NEO-CLASSIC ARCADE series continues the spirit and enjoyment of classic games using modern technology, and the first project in this endeavor is SOL CRESTA Dramatic Edition. SOL CRESTA uses strategies for joining and shaping from the classic shooting games Moon Cresta and Terra Cresta and improves them with a system of joining any shape. The flagship Yamato, consisting of Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi and Susano fighters, can use different attacks depending on how the three ships are aligned. Docking, dividing and reforming ships if necessary is the key to victory over the armies of Mega Zofer. Mankind suffered a crushing defeat at Mandler Army during their last invasion of the solar system.

About This Game

Having lost the Moon and expelled from the Earth, they were forced to retreat to Laomedia, the 12th Moon of Neptune. With the last hope, they formed the SOL CRESTA solar energy recovery unit and placed the fate of the solar system on Yamato, a state-of-the-art dock ship. Yamato, who opposes the evil Mega Zofer, consists of three fighters. At first, you will fight with only one fighter, but pick the right item, and friendly fighters will appear to strengthen! Dock and share to change attack settings, and use different formations to gain access to an amazing arsenal. The music for SOL CRESTA was written by legendary Chiptyun composer Yuzo Koshiro, and the game pays tribute to the sound and graphics of previous Cresta games, bringing back the arcade fever and taking it beyond simple nostalgia. There are even time limits, caravan mode with high scores and online leaderboards.
