Lathe rides on a stone giant and fires ranged weapons, the giant relies entirely on melee attacks. Thus, the two heroes work together to defeat the threat of Deadwood. Each Lathe ranged weapon has an upgrade tree, so it looks like the single player game will be more focused on ranged combat than melee combat.
