Achtung Cthulhu Tactics is a step-by-step role-playing strategy in which a player takes control of a group of heroes who are behind enemy lines in order to uncover and disrupt the Nazi conspiracy. They will have to fight with German soldiers, as well as their immortal allies during the Second World War. The board game Achtung Cthulhu debuted five years ago as a Kickstarter project from Modiphius. The target of financing was achieved many times, and the product expanded. Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process for CODEX

Open the .iso with a virtual drive program (e.g. Daemon Tools) — on Windows 10/11 a double click mounts it on its own.
Install the game by running setup.exe and following the wizard.
After installation, copy the entire contents of the CODEX folder from the disc into the game folder and agree to replace the files.
Start the game through its usual shortcut, preferably as administrator.

Having trouble launching the game?

The steam_api64.dll and other files from the CODEX folder are the heart of the release — if your antivirus removes them, restore them from quarantine and exclude the game folder.
CODEX releases run fully offline. For safety, block the game .exe in your firewall so it never tries to reach Steam.
Errors about missing d3dx9_43.dll or MSVCP140.dll mean the runtimes were skipped — install everything from the disc's Redist or _CommonRedist folder.
