Description

Bendy and the Dark Revival is a fast-paced first-person horror game that takes us into a dark and unpredictable world. The new part of the popular game is ready to please its many fans with a cool combination of a prequel and a sequel. You will find yourself in a world of monsters that you have to fight, hide from them and destroy by connecting wit and cunning. In the game, it is important to carefully study the numerous locations, because it is there that you can get the necessary resources, as well as open access to new opportunities. Get ready to solve various puzzles and uncover secrets by demonstrating speed, tactical planning skills and logic. The updated part also embodied cool, more detailed graphics, and in combination with sound effects creates a frightening, tense atmosphere. Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process for RUNE

  1. Mount the .iso file in a virtual drive — on Windows 10/11 double-clicking the image is enough.

  2. Run the installer from the disc and install the game — the release is already cracked, so no manual file copying is required.

  3. Use the desktop shortcut created by the installer to start the game.

  4. If the game does not launch, copy the contents of the RUNE folder on the disc into the installed game folder and try again.

We've made a number of quality of life updates to Bendy and the Dark Revival, including Steam Deck Verification.
NOTE:
  • The "Verified" badge is still pending with Valve and should appear in the coming days, while it currently shows as "Playable," the game has been fully optimized for Steam Deck.
  • Also, Cloud Saves are still being finalized, once Steam Deck is verified we should be able to do a final test and enable them.

  • Resolved issue where some text may not update immediately when language setting is changed
  • Fixed some typos in English text
  • Updated copyright dates and credits

Controls and UI

  • Added setting to increase the minimum displayed text size
  • Resolved issue where the pause menu could not be opened when loading an autosave created when encountering the King Widow
  • Updated controller button icons to display correctly with connected PlayStation or Xbox controller
  • Allowed pause menu to be closed with B (assuming Xbox controls)
  • Resolved issue where quitting to main menu using a control may automatically load an autosave
  • Allowed input to be swapped between keyboard+mouse and controller while in menus
  • Resolved issue where collectibles lists in the pause menu may scroll to the top unexpectedly
  • Resolved issues with some UI going off screen
  • Removed aspect ratios unsupported by the UI (leaving 16:10 and 16:9)
  • Added ability to use Left CTRL for Crouch
  • Seasonal content (Ink Demons Eve and Winter Abyss) last a full month and can be toggled in Options

Gameplay

  • Resolved various softlocks caused by dying/saving in specific locations
  • Prevented softlock where Shipahoy Dudley may become stuck
  • Resolved issue where main menu may become unresponsive when button mashing
  • Added barriers to prevent player falling out of world if they outrun area loading
  • Resolved issue with loading barrier displaying behind door in Shipahoy Dudley's area
  • Resolved issue where Linker pipes in the Sewer may sometimes not work
  • Prevented player from seeing under the floor when using some Linker pipes
  • Resolved issue where Alice cannot see the player when they are crouched, regardless of sightlines
  • Resolved issues where the Ink Demons audio may stop unexpectedly in Animation Alley and the final area
  • Resolved issue where some audio was not connected to audio sliders in Settings

Archives

  • Posed the Keeper in the Archives
  • Updated unlock requirements of Archives and Credits to allow them to be unlocked offline/without achievements
  • Prevented saves from being created while in the Archives
