Description

ATMOSFAR is an aerial adventure at the edge of the world where you control flying cars among the clouds. In the lost sky of another planet, where islands and animals soar, you will find yourself fighting for survival and returning what was lost. Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the heavenly expanses while exploring the remains of the colony. Master maneuverable vehicles, strengthen fragile air stations and find traces of those who disappeared before you. All that remains is trash, wind and hope. Every island is a mystery, every storm is a threat. Your decisions shape the path: modify the OS, build your Cloud Cruiser and conquer the skies. Alone or with a group of friends, this is a journey into the unknown.

Hello Vagabonds!

Thank you for playing ATMOSFAR, and thank you for reporting bugs and sharing your feedback and perspective on the game. As part of our Early Access work, we'll be deploying a series of hotfixes and updates across the coming weeks to stabilize and improve the game based on your feedback. That work starts tonight with the following small hotfix addressing a key UI issue with the bug reporter, a performance issue related to DLAA settings and a respawn issue for the tutorial section of the game.

ATMOSFAR EA 1.0-4 patch notes (updated)

UI

  • VENU-14392: Bug reporting panel can in rare instances not close properly until after 30 seconds have passed

  • VENU-14395: Temporarily disabled DLAA up-scaling settings due to inefficient effect on rendering

Code

  • VENU-14352: Updated main discovery re-spawn locations on Pearl Island preventing player character to respawn back in foundry facility

  • VENU-14419: Research drives can be lost upon recovery

Performance inquiries

We're watching the feedback come in and see that there are several reports on lackluster performance. If you have the time, we would love to hear about this in the comments of this news post and we'd primarily like to know two things:

  • What are your hardware specs?

  • What are your applied graphics settings? Specifically your average graphics settings and if you're using any upscaling settings and if so which.


This will help us immensely with debugging any issue you might have and ultimately delivering a more performant experience.
