Description
Center Ice Hockey is a dynamic and physically demanding sports simulator from independent developer Joonas Kaunisto, which brings the classic atmosphere of arcade hockey from the nineties back to PC. The essence of the game is to give players honest classic hockey with real rules and uncompromising hard fighting on the ice. You can play quick exhibition matches, complete a full 32 team season, or build your own multi-year career by working your way up from the grassroots to a call-up to the national team. The project was created specifically for those who are tired of overloaded modern sports simulators and just want to enjoy a fast and fun game together with friends on the same screen.
The main feature of the gameplay is a simple and clear control, which at the same time hides a deep physical model of the behavior of the puck and athletes. The mechanics allow you to curl incredible dunks over the sticks of defenders, perform powerful clicks on the goal, crash into opponents with nails in full swing and even drop the gloves to arrange a real fistfight right in the middle of a fierce match. A feature of the game is a full fledged built in team and player editor that allows you to completely redo the league to suit yourself, change the lineups and download your own sets of rosters from the disk. In addition, you can develop your character by distributing earned skill points, and recent updates have added beautiful reflections on the ice, home team logos in the center of the arena and a convenient camera that follows your player directly.
