First of all - thank you. For playing our game.

We've been away for quite a while. We ran into plenty of issues during development, but we figured things out, and finally managed to put this update together for you.

If you've spent a lot of time in our game, the new content might not look like much, especially considering how long you've been waiting for it. But our goal wasn't quantity - it was quality. And, honestly, getting it finished at all.

So, what's inside?:

• Improved visuals and models. Many models have received a visual upgrade. We've improved the lighting system, fixed visual bugs, and polished things up across the board. Everything looks and works much better now. Please tell us if you miss the old mushrooms!

• Reworked Menu UI/UX. We've rebuilt most of the interface from scratch and improved almost every aspect of it. It's now better optimized, easier to use, and nicer to look at. Also, if you want to enjoy the game in peace, you can finally start a Solo game with just 1 button. Not a huge change, but it's here, and it's really useful!

• New Region and pets. The Laboratory Sector. A large section of intersecting hallways, uncovering some secrets. Also meet Grumpy and Blob. They're among the most exquisite creatures you'll find around here. Not exactly the most fun guys to hang out with, but certainly useful to your cause.

• The game finale. You do remember your original goal, don't you? Escaping the Air Exchange? Well, you can finally find your way out. Along the way, you'll meet new characters and draw some rather obvious conclusions.

• Bugfixes. Come and get your bugfixes!

• Fixed the teleporter's "Platform 9¾" bug (hopefully!)

• Fixed APV being absent in certain areas

• No more "Trade with someone" quest when playing Solo

• Fixed missing flare gun trail textures

• Improved Veins / Gates synchronization and purchase state updates

• Fixed light bleeding glitches

• Fixed weird text popping up in the Terminal

• Improved AO denoising and rendering

• Improved Post FX performance

New Tutorial. New players have given us plenty of feedback about their first few minutes in this world. We've done our best to make the introduction smoother and help incoming operators understand what to do and where to go. We tried to keep it subtle enough not to distract those who already know their way around, so your feedback is appreciated.

Finally, we want to express our gratitude to everyone who stuck around while we were developing the game. We hope to create more experiences in the same aesthetic and genre in the future, definitely with better quality and more content.

Not now, though. This is the last content update for Dystopian Pet Simulator. There may still be bugfixes and improvements, but there won't be any more major expansions or new regions. The story itself, however, will continue to develop and expand in future games.

Small Update featuring Screen Space Ambient Occlusion.

It should have been in the latest update, but, well, it's here now - and you didn't know it was supposed to be there before, so... you're welcome!

It further enhances the game's visual style with nice, soft shadowing around objects.
