Description

Emberville – Take your mysterious comrade to save the people of Amberville and rebuild your own city. Boost craft and combat abilities, explore an ever-changing dungeon, and more. The protagonist wakes up confused in an endless prison. His memories are clouded, but the desire to gain freedom is stronger. At the same time, he will not be alone. After all, with him go to a mysterious luminous entity that calls itself a Souvenir. So work your way through the power and magic to finally get to the sunlight. In addition, prisoners and residents of the once joyful city, devastated by evil forces, need your help.

Step-by-step setup process for Pre-installed (Portable)

  1. No installation is needed — the game comes fully pre-installed and ready to play.

  2. Extract the RAR / ZIP archive with WinRAR or 7-Zip into any folder, for example C:\Games\GameName.

  3. Launch the game via Run Me!.bat (or the main .exe file) inside the game folder.

Hello everyone!

First of all, we'd like to thank you all for the feedback and bug reporting. We are working tirelessly to resolve any issues found and continuously improve the gaming experience. So we'll keep posting updates to the game as soon as possible.

Patch Notes - Version Demo Alpha 0.20.18.x

  • Fixed some issues related to attack rate calculation 

  • Fixed some localization issues

  • Fixed the text in some languages

  • Fixed a bug that prevented the controller L/R (shoulder buttons) to work properly in some menus

  • Fixed some UI navigation issues of the controller/gamepad

  • Fixed a bug that prevented the controller of working properly in the Main Menu after creating a new character

  • Fixed a bug that allowed the controller radial menu to open on some unwanted moments

  • Fixed a bug related to cutscenes

  • Fixed a bug that allowed items to be consumed during dialogue interactions

  • Removed a boss corpse collider to prevent players from being stuck in the boss nest (temporary solution)

  • Fixed a bug that prevented action button to be used to collect crafted items in the crafting menu

  • Fixed an issue that prevented worlds from being created in some rare cases

  • Fixed a bug that prevented music from playing in the main menu

  • Fixed a bug related to crafting stations

  • Added new icons for all Armor Masteries

  • Other minor fixes and improvements

Known Issues

We’re still investigating some issues that may happen in some machines/setups.

  • Long loading time in some setups

  • Not being able to change the language in some systems/setups

  • While we don't find the final solution for this, users may fix this by deleting their game options file, by going to "AppData\\LocalLow\\CygnusCross\\Emberville\\Saves\\" and deleting the file "options.eopt"

  • This should fix the issue as it'll return the game to default configurations

  • Deleting this file only does not erase your save, but please be careful to not delete anything else in this folder.

Experimental

  • We've added the support of navigating in the menus using keyboard only, as requested by our community. This is not final and may present bugs.
