Description
Godzilla Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered is a three-dimensional fighting game about the battles of giant monsters, in which entire cities become arenas for destructive fights. Choose your favorite kaiju and enter a battle where opponents are able to turn skyscrapers into weapons. The main feature of the battles is the ability to use the surrounding territory against the opponent. Monsters grab buildings and throw them at each other, piercing walls and leaving behind ruined streets. Arenas fully interact with what is happening, so the usual urban scenery gradually changes right during the battle. Among the battlefields are Tokyo, San Francisco, Monster Island, and the alien ship Mothership Vortaak. A total of eight locations with day and night decoration are provided.
In the list available fighters are twelve kaiju from the Godzilla universe. Everyone has their own set of movements and special attacks that determine the tactics of the fight. You can strike close, attack the enemy with energy beams, or activate Rage Mode, which enhances special techniques. Some abilities are suitable for a long-range attack, while others are especially useful in close combat. The right choice of distance helps to win and timely use of strong attacks. Up to four people can participate in local battles. You can arrange a team match or check who will be the last among several opponents.
Separate network battles are provided for playing over the Internet. If you want to engage in destruction without the usual confrontation, Destruction Mode is available, in which the result depends on the damage done to the city damage. The best indicators are stored separately for each monster and urban location. The visual part of the original game was reworked using modern technologies, preserving the basis of the combat system. The changes affected creature movements, interactions between creatures, and some controls.
