Description

Milo is a dynamic survival game with a view from above, where alone or together with other players you have to fight off the endless waves of distraught cultists and gradually increase your pack of rats. The longer you manage to hold out, the more rewards you can get, but at the same time, the risk of losing everything before returning to Traang's game room increases. At the disposal of the hero is the arsenal of the Second World War, and the found enhancements allow you to gradually create a style that suits your style of development.

Each new pass turns into an attempt to hold out as long as possible among constantly advancing opponents. At the beginning, only one class is available Survivor, but already during the game you can collect folding gains and gradually build the right set of benefits. Additional features are provided by unusual items of the environment, including a strange machine with cream, which is able to change the passage. Therefore, even a familiar battle can develop differently depending on the selected boosts and interactions found.

To protect against cultists, more than twelve types of weapons are provided, including the 98k carbine, the M1 Garand rifle, the PPSh 41 submachine gun and the M1911 pistol. You can get tickets for successful actions, and then spend them in Traang's arcade for upgrades. Additional tickets can be earned by playing basketball, so before the next dangerous entry, you should look into the arcade and strengthen the character. The further you can move forward, the more opportunities for development open up, but at the same time the price of an error increases.

Thank you all for playing Milo and thank you for your patience!

Build 26332885

Thank you all for purchasing and playing Milo in Early Access and thank you for your patience!

As a solo developer, it's been a real treat to see my game played so much in the past 24 hours. Seeing several pages of multiplayer sessions was a pretty gnarly experience. Some colleagues and friends have pointed out to me that many reviews mention the "developers" and have encouraged me to be more forthcoming about the fact that this is a one-man show. I don't have a team, I love this job, and I'm going to work my ass off for the foreseeable future to improve Milo and I'm excited to bring you along for the ride.

It's been a bit of a bumpy start in terms of performance, balance, and some networked multiplayer issues so I really appreciate your patience here...

...but I've been listening to your feedback and now I'm going through and fixing/improving the game and trying to prioritize the fixes as best I can. Thanks a lot for your continued support. I love you.

To improve performance quickly, please be sure to try fiddling with the "Advanced Settings" section and/or try toggling OFF the new "Disable Persistent Objects" option.
