Description
This bizarre cosmic horror adventure game called Penguin Colony is an unusual project created by the indie studio Origame Digital. You literally explore a freezing Antarctic landscape set in the year 1939 through the eyes of a local bird. The whole story focuses on a Nazi expedition and local warriors hunting for an ancient alien being that is slowly driving everyone completely insane. Right here on this catalog page you can easily check the system requirements to see if it runs well on your computer and look at the actual screenshots and gameplay videos to see the chilly environment before you choose to pick it up.
The actual gameplay revolves around exploring icy caverns and ancient ruins while swapping between multiple distinct penguin varieties at any time with a single button press. You do not fight the human soldiers directly but instead you solve puzzles by observing their descent into madness while carefully dodging deep crevasses and dangerous puddles of gooey monsters. The experience includes a separate soundtrack and director commentary pack that adds extra content for players who want to dive deeper into the lore. Right in this hub you can always find out the latest version of the game track available expansion dlc packs and read the actual patch note to see what specific bugs the creators fixed or what performance updates they introduced in the recent release.
