Description
Phantom Blade Zero is an action-RPG from the Chinese studio S-GAME, in which the classics of the films meet the gloomy punk aesthetics. A warrior who has 66 days to live, a conspiracy that can turn the world upside down, and kung fu set by masters of Hong Kong cinema. Soul is an elite assassin in the service of a powerful organization known as the Order. He is accused of murdering the head of the Order, and betrayed by his own comrades. After the final duel with as a twin, Saul gets a blade in his heart, but does not die: a mysterious doctor brings him back to life.
The price of this rescue is only 66 days. During this time, Saul must find a way to heal, fight off the killers and find out who is behind the conspiracy, the truth about which can shake the whole world. The action takes place in the Ghost World, where light and shadow are constantly changing, hiding secrets at every turn. Here realities shift, echoes of ancient memories, and among the opponents there are beings of a higher power. This is not historical China, but the fantasy world of kung fu punk is gloomy, cruel and beautiful.
Every hit and every rack in the game is based on real martial arts techniques. To do this, the developers used Unreal Engine 5, modern motion capture and the experience of the legendary directors of combat scenes of the golden era of Hong Kong cinema. Creative donnie Yen became a consultant, who not only helped with the fighting style, but also gave appearance and movement to one of the characters. There are more than 30 weapons in Soul's arsenal, and for the brave, there is a 66-day difficulty mode, where each death takes one day and when they are over, the final death occurs.
