Description
Project Sakura is an atmospheric action-adventure game with survival horror elements created by the independent studio RTRGAMES. The game was released in Early Access in the fall of 2026. In simple terms, this is a tense story of survival in a big city where ordinary people suddenly turn into monsters. Events take place in modern Japan on a quiet spring day. Suddenly, a mysterious outbreak of an unknown disease occurs.
This virus acts very strangely: it completely erases any good emotions in people, leaving only darkness, anger and pure hatred. Those infected are transformed into violent zombie-like monsters called Kagebito. The worst thing is that they don’t just run around mindlessly, but retain their human minds and act cunningly and insidiously. The main character is a high school student named Asumi. Her best friend Yuna is trapped in the chaos, and now Asum must navigate through the city's most dangerous areas to save her.
