Description

Senara The Sacrament is a first-person survival horror on board an isolated cargo ship, where fear is born not only from darkness and cramped corridors, but also from human faith. You find yourself on the ship “Senara” without explanation and are forced to fight for life while the ship is slowly moving towards disaster.

A detailed recreation of a ship weighing thousands of tons becomes a maze in which each compartment hides a threat or a fragment of the truth. Limited resources force caution, and gradual flooding increases the pressure of time. Research requires attention: hidden passages, documents and evidence open up new routes and hint at what is happening beyond the obvious.

As you progress, you encounter survivors whose goals rarely align with yours. Secret cult rituals, fanaticism and forbidden knowledge permeate inside the vessel, turning the path to salvation into a moral test. The truth is not presented directly, it has to be collected in fragments, making its own decisions about what to believe.

Director's Cut Mode Update

Build 24968777

It's been almost a month since launch. As we mentioned before, our focus during this time has been on reducing the game's stress level, in the hope that more players would be able to experience all the content we prepared without giving up partway through.

In the process, however, the tight tension and depth of fear that define the survival horror genre were somewhat diluted — and we've come to deeply understand that many of you found this disappointing.

That's why we've prepared a separate mode that fully delivers the experience we originally set out to create: surviving and exploring a vast, complex ship environment while evading a constant threat with extremely limited resources. It may still fall short in places, but we're finally ready to release it.

Please see the details below.

Director's Cut Mode Added

A new difficulty, Director's Cut Mode, has been added, embodying the game's original design intent. In developing this new mode, rather than simply making the game harder, we focused on fully realizing our original vision — intensified horror and a genuine drive to overcome the challenge.

  • In Director's Cut Mode, you start with a smaller inventory.

  • Navigation markers are no longer displayed. You can focus on the core thrill of finding your way as if truly exploring, under far greater tension.

Monster AI Behavior Changes

We've improved monsters so they are no longer just "easy targets to dispatch."

  • Grenades are no longer a universal solution — the player's attacks have been rebalanced to serve as a means of temporarily escaping danger.

  • The Angel monster no longer despawns from attacks (including grenades).

  • When the Angel monster takes enough damage, it retreats into the sea, then resumes roaming its designated area afterward.

  • The Angel monster no longer reacts instantly to sound — suspicion accumulates, and it begins tracking the player once a threshold is reached.

New Mid-Game Monster
  • A new monster has been added to the mid-game.

  • This new monster appears in specific sections.

Expanded Lifeboat Escape Ending Sequence

New content and gimmicks have been added to the final stretch of the lifeboat escape.

  • The location of the final part required for the lifeboat escape has been changed.

  • The escape route after obtaining the final part has been changed.

Item Drop Changes
  • The amount of money dropped on the map has been slightly reduced.

  • The amount of ammo dropped on the map has been slightly reduced.

  • Soju bottles that dropped in certain sections have been removed.

  • The positions of some destructible objects have been adjusted.

Level Design Changes
  • Cabinet positions in some sections have been adjusted.

  • The type, number, and timing of monsters appearing in the PLB signal escape sequence have been adjusted.

  • A save point has been added to the aft cabin area on 3F.

Offering Box Item Changes
  • The lineup of items sold in the Offering Box has been changed.

  • The prices of some items sold in the Offering Box have been changed.

Other Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an issue where some monsters would chase the player into unintended areas.

  • Fixed an incorrect floor label for the Hydraulic Pump Room in objective text.

  • Fixed an issue on the Pastor escape route where moving to an unintended location could cause problems.

We will keep working to deliver an even better play experience. If you have any feedback while playing, we'd greatly appreciate it if you could leave it in the Discussions. 🙏
