Description
SMS Returns is an atmospheric survival horror game that revives a famous viral phenomenon from the past. Players find themselves in dark locations where a terrifying faceless figure begins to hunt them down. The main goal is to explore dim and confusing territories, collect necessary items, and try to escape from the pursuit of the creepy monster. The project offers players a chance to relive those unforgettable emotions of fear but on a completely new graphic level with classic maps rebuilt from the ground up, including an all new forest area.
The gameplay is built on stealthy movement and constant awareness of your surroundings for the sake of survival. You can face this scary journey alone, try to survive together with friends in a cooperative multiplayer mode, or completely immerse yourself in the nightmare using virtual reality headsets. The most interesting feature of the game is a full fledged built in map editor. This mechanic allows users to independently construct unique terrifying levels, set up traps, and share their own scary stories with other members of the community.
