Unofficial native port of the original version of Splinter Cell Double Agent for Xbox, made by the static method recompiled and assembled into a 64-bit executable file for Windows. The game code for the x86 architecture is pre-broadcast in C++, the Xbox kernel, Direct3D and DirectSound calls are implemented in Windows, and rendering is done using Direct3D 12, playback via XAudio2. Created using the Xbox XBE Recomp tool designed specifically for this game.

Description

Tom Clancys Splinter Cell Double Agent, an alternate story branch of the famous spy saga, takes operative Sam Fisher to the epicenter of a complex operation. On the instructions of the National Security Agency, the hero penetrates into the extremist Army of John Brown. The risk of exposure erases the boundaries of what is allowed, forcing you to maneuver between the orders of the curator and the instructions of the criminal leaders. Mistaken choice threatens to compromise the agent or destroy hundreds of innocent lives.

The gameplay is based on the trust balance of 2 factions, which determines the outcome of the story. Covert sabotage is complemented by equipment such as improved night vision optics. At the same time, Tom Clancys Splinter Cell Double Agent sends a Third Echelon fighter to extreme zones from ocean ice floes to sandstorms. The geometry of the locations here is markedly different from another variation of the project, preserving classic pace of leisurely passage. Deep technical refinement has eliminated outdated frame rate and low resolution constraints. The graphics system has received support for large-format screens with adaptive synchronization. Direct input of commands eliminated mouse delays, returning impeccable tactical control.
