Fuga Melodies of Steel 2

Fuga Melodies of Steel 2 is the second installment in a tactical RPG series set to launch in 2021. It was developed by CyberConnect2, the same studio as the original game, also responsible for Asura’s Wrath and Dragon Ball Z Kakarot. Fuga Melodies of Steel 2 takes place one year after the true ending of the first game. The war is not yet over, and Taranis — a mighty machine that has become the last hope to repel the invasion of the Berman Empire — is out of control. However, all is not lost, because the returned protagonist Malt and his companions set off on a new journey to rescue their kidnapped friends aboard another tank Taranis.

Fuga Memories of Steel 2 is a side scroller. The player controls a squad of children traveling the world aboard a powerful tank. Destinations can be selected on the in-game map. While one can simply take the shortest and easiest paths, detours can be lucrative, albeit dangerous. Along the way, we fight enemies in turn-based combat using various Tarascus weapons. The player must equip the weapons with crew members, keeping in mind that each of them has individual skills and strengths that can affect the course of the battle.

We can also use the most powerful tank weapon — the managarm double-barreled analogue of the Soul Cannon in the original game and call for air support. Do not forget about the weakness of enemies to certain types of weapons. As the game progresses, party members build relationships with each other, and the player must make decisions that affect the story. Fuga Melodies of Steel 2 retains the art style of the original game, inspired by the work of Studio Ghibli.
